Members of Friends of HAPCSO (FOHAPCSO) should be an inspiration to the entire Ethiopian Diaspora community. Their dedication to their country and their desire to participate in creating solutions to Ethiopia’s problems is highly commendable.
Each member of FOHAPCSO shows a real spirit of volunteerism. Their love for each other and their community is exemplary. What makes this group particularly unique is the involvement of young Ethiopian Americans who play a tremendous role in the organization alongside their older community members. They are a group of creative visionaries, always coming up with new ideas to help raise funds and awareness about the effects of the HIV/AIDS among Ethiopians at home and abroad
Since its establishment as a 501C3 non-profit in 2003, Friends of HAPCSO has made it possible for hundreds of HIV/AIDS orphans and vulnerable children to lead fulfilling lives.
Thank you, members of HAPCSO, for your support and for believing in Hiwot HIV/ADS Prevention and Care Organization (HAPCSO).
Sister Tibebe Maco.
Founder and Executive Director of HAPCSO, Ethiopia
